A Hug to ones-self

For people whom suffer from sensory overload, being in public can be very challenging and scary, especially if one has no support system surrounding them and is left to be truly alone.

This puts lots of pressure on friends and family members as people who suffer from anxiety disorders never feel independent and will have to be dependent on other people to slowly break this fear. After the global Covid pandemic, the amount of people suffering from sensory overload increased ten-fold. This raises the question of how to restore the independence to these individuals, to support their smooth reintegration into society. It was found that emulating a hugging feeling is the answer.

Hadi is a inflatable vest, that can be pumped to emulate a hug when the person wearing it feels the anxiety attack building.
